Tweenees Resources (Age 6-13)

Tweenees is an abuse prevention programme which introduces simple personal safety messages to children in primary schools and youth groups. The programme is made up of a fully photocopyable pack and a number of extra resources which can supplement the pack, or be used individually.

The Tweenees pack contains a wide range of games and worksheets with notes on how to adapt them for children with different needs. It introduces ideas and issues of varying complexity to suit children of different ages and stages of development. The sessions in the Tweenees pack and the additional resources cover topics such as domestic violence, bullying, sexual violence, personal safety, aggressive v assertive behaviour, the causes and effects of violence, and alternatives to violence..
